Privacy Policy for Review Prep

Review Prep is an independent study app made by Aerodyne Inc. for the Reading and Writing section of the digital college admissions exam. This page explains how we handle your privacy. The short version: we collect nothing.

We do not collect any data

Aerodyne does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information from people who use this app. There are no accounts, no signup, and no login. Review Prep has no servers of its own and makes no network connection to Aerodyne. We use no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services — the app bundles none. We have no way to identify you and no way to see what you do in the app.

Everything stays on your device

All of the information the app creates is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage, and none of it is transmitted to Aerodyne or anyone else. This includes:

Your study progress, answer history, mastery levels, and the words or skills you have practiced.
Your daily streaks, session results, and progress statistics.
Your preferences and settings, including sound, haptics, reminder time, and test length.
Your subscription and free-trial status, so the app knows what to unlock.
Anonymous performance and stability diagnostics from Apple's MetricKit framework, which the app records to a local file on your device to help with debugging. These are never uploaded to us.

Removing the app removes this local data.

Optional iCloud sync (your own account)

If your device is signed in to iCloud, Review Prep mirrors a small study-progress snapshot to your own private iCloud storage, so the same progress appears on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data lives in Apple's iCloud entirely under your control; Aerodyne cannot access it, and it never passes through any server we operate. You can turn iCloud off for the app in your device's iCloud settings.

Purchases

Review Prep offers an optional auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store under Apple's own privacy policy and are verified on your device. We do not receive your name, card details, or any personal payment information. Billing, refunds, and cancellations are managed by Apple through your Apple Account.

Notifications

If you turn on study reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device using Apple's notification system. We do not run a push server and we do not send marketing messages. You can disable reminders at any time.

Children's privacy

Review Prep is a general-audience study tool intended for high-school and college-age students. It is not directed to children under 13, and because the app collects no personal information from anyone, no data is gathered from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
